100 Trees Down, 1 Tree Up

Since C was a little traumatized by the destruction of animals' homes with the tearing down of trees by the construction workers, we decided to add another tree to our yard . It's our biggest one so far, well worth the extra thirty bucks.  Mr A won that battle, but I dare not admit he's right.  :)  We picked a Yoshino Flowering Cherry. 

Now we have a Crepe Myrtle (added by the builder), an Eastern Redbud (our first tree planted in honor of Mr A's fellow Third Infantry Division soldiers that were KIA), a Flowering Pear, and the Yoshino Flowering Cherry. 

I can't wait for them to start flowering, it's going to be beautiful!  And as always, I will post pictures when they do.
