Finding Routine

We have reached the half way point of C's first full week of school.  So far so good.  He has received purple stickers (represents "an awesome day") for behavior every day thus far.  He has completed his first homework assignment a few days ahead of schedule and is getting many smiley faces on class work.  He even has the hang of bus riding down.

Found some creativity with the Sharpie during lunch making.

B and I are slowly starting to get into our own daily routines. He has his preschool mornings Tues & Thurs and speech therapy appointments on Tues & Wed. We've taken up walking in the mornings he doesn't go to preschool.  And I must add that whenever I start to jog he informs me, "You're going to fall Mommy." I think he realizes how unathletic I am.  So far this week has involved lots of "I miss Connor"s and a very, very clean house.

Evenings are when things get a little hectic.  Both boys want to play with one another and with their friends.  But there is school work to go over, cooking dinner, preparing lunch, bathing of children, spending time with Daddy, etc.  C hasn't quite grasp that these are school nights.  I suppose with time we will get this under our belt too.
