The 4th + Small Trip

My mother came down for a visit around the 4th.  It was nice to have her here as always.  However, the weather was too hot to enjoy much time outdoors.  She was able to take part in our annual fireworks display on post.  I didn't get pictures of her, but I did convince her to take some of us...

After the holiday we roadtripped it to visit family.  This is Mr A's second trip north in the summer, the rest of the time he has only experienced the cold there.  We did a little bit of everything: swimming, museum visit, lunch at the park, lots of eating, yard work for the g'parents, short visit with best friend, and shopping. 

We also learned C's favorite thing in the whole wide world beside dinosaurs is swimming!
