As the sun sets in the west

Tonight while Jer was mowing for 2 hours with our push mower (we have a ginormous yard which we love but didn't think about mowing when we moved in), the kids and I enjoyed some time outside.  Connor rode his 4 wheeler for a while, we played hop scotch, planted some wild flower seeds, and Brayden explored grass.  The grass was just another proof to me that C and B are very different from one another.  While Brayden was so curious to find out what those green blades of grass were and wanted to know what it tasted like, Connor at that age refused to touch grass.  I remember when I'd put Connor in grass, he would sit there and not move a muscle holding his hands up in the air waiting for you to pick him up and move him some where else.  I got great photos of Brayden while the sun was setting; would have taken some of Connor but he is so over getting his pictures taken and makes silly faces or closes his eyes.

I love when he makes this face

See his baby mohawk?

I think he resembles me in the pic when I was a bambino

Looking at his bro

  2. Love it! We brought the faux-hawk back this weekend too. Or at least I did. Derek hates it. Go figure.
