Bugs, Creatures, and Dirt

Sunday we went fishing at Lake Kyle on Ft Campbell.  Since Connor has an attention span of a 3 year old (funny, funny) and was getting a little antsy & loud during Daddy's fishing, I decided we should do some good ol' bonding and go on a nature walk.

We started out with Connor finding a good stick to examine creatures with.

While crossing a bridge we discovered an old tree that had fallen over which was pretty neat

We also found a "secret trail" that we could follow to go a little into the woods

Connor found a mighty spider that he enjoyed probing.

We also chased butterflies

He got a little dirty, which is always a concern of his.  Although now he finds it fun

After our adventure Connor tortured worms back at the fishing site

Bray and Daddy did some bonding as well

Brayden brought a little good luck

Catch of the day: a "teeny tiny fish"

  1. What an ABSOLUTELY wonderful account of your day.... this should be saved into a book. Your pictures are beautiful (as usual) and the story made me so wish I were there.

    Great job !
