Mr A celebrated his 32nd birthday last week. The man has everything so I had no idea what to get him for his birthday that would 1.) hold a special meaning to him or 2.) be something he really wanted. I decided to give him moola. A hundred bucks. It's not too often as parents, homeowners, a married couple that we get to indulge in spending one hundred dolla dolla bills on oneself. I know I'd love that gift (and I probably will get just that in 23 days). There was some fine print in receiving the gift, he was not to spend it on the children, bills, gas, wife, lunch money (yes, he gets an allowance for that).
Little did I know, he would chose to buy landscaping rock for the front yard. Of all the things! That's what he wanted therefore that's what he bought. Such a man. Such a new homeowner.
