Saturday Fun Day

My incentive to complete this week's art assignments was being able to update my blog.  I'm back in school!!  Started about 3 weeks ago.  I'm taking a visual art course (which more about learing the history and evolution of art) and expository writing (my least favorite subject but is 1 of 2 required classes I have left to take).  4 more classes and I will have my associates degree!  I know it doesn't seem like much but it is a huge accomplishment in my life.  And as of last semester my GPA was 3.94! This all coming from the girl who hated high school and barely got by. 

Sunday was going to be a day filled with lots of homework for Mr A and me, so we wanted to make sure the boys had at least one fun filled day.  Saturday was such a perfect day for me, no particular reason why other than we were all happy, carefree, and loving life.  We started out the day by going to the Nashville Zoo.  They have a temporary exhibit up called "Dino Trek" and we knew C would absolutely enjoy it.

After the zoo we went to Fort Campbell to see "Sesame Street Live!"  It was a show provided for free by the USO.  We are so thankful for them!  B was ecstatic to see "Melmo and Cookie Monder."  The show was 30 minutes long, which was perfect for impatient toddlers, and was about a girl who is moving due to the military. 

We ended the day at a playground on post.

I'm really looking forward to our next family day this coming weekend.  I'm going to need it after all of my English homework and research paper!
