Growing Babes

Bray: Vegetable #1 completed.
After an unsuccessful attempt at green beans, Brayden was started on squash. He did very well at not blowing raspberries, which causes baby food to fly every where, like he did with the green beans.  He has also started to grasp the concept of swallowing instead of pushing out with his tongue.  This 4 oz jar lasted 3 feedings, not bad for a first food.  Due to his milk & soy allergy, he will continue on the squash for the remainder of the week (instead of the 'normal' 3 days) before we introduce a new veggie.

Connor has discovered the mystery of the computer.
The child, who I swear is 3 going on 13, is now maneuvering his way around technology.  He is fascinated that this machine can show him train videos anytime of day and he can now control that special magic trick without the help of Daddy (well to a certain extent).  Much to my dismay, he spent a good 20 minutes working his way around YouTube the other night clicking on the wide array of boring videos of trains choo chooing their way down a track (I wanna know who stands there to video these and then upload them...they obviously have too much time on their hands).  As he sits and enjoys the chug a lugging on the screen, I enjoy standing back and watching my boy grow before my very own eyes.  Where has the time gone?

  1. Ashlyn LOVES the computer. She has all her favorite sites bookmarked like Noggin, Barbie, Disney and more. She knows so much already it's crazy! I'm curious what technology we will have when these 3 year olds are 30! can you imagine?

  2. We just completed Week 1 of squash today. Next up is carrots. Hope the other half of the Hypoallergenic Duo handles it as well as Reid has (knock on wood)!
