Luck of the Irish

Names that is.

Did you know Connor and Brayden's names are Irish? Yes, indeed.   But as I was thinking today, one would think we gave them Irish names because of Irish origins (I don't know how much Irish Jeremy and I have in our families, I just know we're "muts," I don't really pay attention to that stuff very well); it wasn't intentional more coincidental.  However, it does have meaning behind it after I thought about it.  Jeremy and I were married the week of St Patrick's Day.  After our wedding on Tybee Island, we headed to downtown Savannah to partake in their huge St Patty's Day festivities on River Street.  We actually went a couple more times that weekend too.  There was another meaningful thing I thought of earlier, but totally forgot it which kind of ruined this story, haha (I do that a lot).  Anyways, here's some more Green photos from our Saint Patrick's Day 2010.

My lunch.  I use to eat this all the time when I was prego with Bray.  Caesar salad pita.  Only this time I used fat free Ranch (less calories) and diet pita bread.

And one lonely mini cupcake for me. :)

And to conclude this post, today as I was driving from Kentucky back home to Tennessee I quickly remembered what I love so much about Kentucky...Alfalfa Hay fields!!!  I spotted my first one of the season.  I remember my first road trip to Louisville, KY with my mom and seeing them for the first time.  I had no idea what it was and was in awe of the beautiful green color.  I told her I wanted to plant that instead of grass for my yard when I owned a house (oh so young and dumb).  To this day I have never seen a more gorgeous green provided by nature.  When I saw a field today it brought a big smile to my face.
