One fish, two fish, red fish, no fish?

The beautiful spring-like weather permitted us to enjoy our first family fishing outing of the year.  It was also Connor's very first fishing experience.  He did pretty good as far as a 3 year old can hold the attention for.  We purchased him a "Cars" kid fishing pole and although casting it into the water will be a couple years away, he did a fantastic job of dropping the line into the water by himself.  I hadn't been fishing since we lived in Georgia and I was pregnant with Connor, so I had fun as well throwing the line in. Jeremy, on the other hand, was super disappointed we didn't catch any fish.  As for me, I'm not surprised; we never do when we go together.

The first place we went to was a children's pond and it had a playground there.  Brayden had his first ride in a park swing.  He was very happy and had lots of fun.  Which is not surprising since he loves being in his baby swing at home.

  1. Aww that is so cute; Connor and Jeremy fishing together. I bet he loved that. Brayden is growing fast too. I'm so happy you guys are enjoying TN and feel at home.
