"Spring is here. Spring is here. It's the best time of the year!"
(For those of you who don't know Little Bill, he's a character on Nick Jr. Yeah, I'm a mom to a preschooler, can't ya tell?)
The sun has finally returned and it's beautiful out. There are signs of spring sprouting all over the Armstrong residence. Of course, a post wouldn't be complete without photos.
See the teeny tiny spot of green? Jeremy bought me this strawberry kit as a welcome home gift from our trip to Illinois. I planted the sticks the first day of warm, sunny weather we had a couple weeks ago. I didn't (and still don't) have any expectations of growth as my "green" thumb is more like blue (blue from the sadness I get when I kill my plants).
I took the pic of the star but it needed something. Figured I'd might as well put our address (which for those I emailed our address to, I sent the wrong zip code so this one is correct). Now, onto the star....It seems to be our neighborhood logo, about every other 5th house has one (okay maybe not 5 but you get what I mean). I love them and wanted to fit in so one was added to our casa. Gives the home a country feel.
Remember in yesterday's post as a child I wanted Alfalfa hay in my yard? Well this rental home has a lovely green onion field in lieu of grass. Dreading the smell of that first mow.
